Be ready for winter up the mountain in Queenstown

No secret, the last couple of months I've been living in Queenstown, so why not create something useful for winter beginners? And that's no joke - there are a lot. I come from a country where we get all 4 seasons and white winter is one of them. Well, here in New Zealand I get to meet so many tourists = people who have never even seen real snow. Everyone should be ready for the winter season (especially if it's your 1st one).

Going up Coronet peak to enjoy all the snow we can, yes, in July.

This article and my latest YouTube video are all about getting you ready for Coronet Peak and Remarkables. Starting from where to find good rental deals to my mistake that you should avoid 100%. Queenstown is magical always, but winter - you have to try it to believe.

Here are places I'm mentioning in the video and you might find useful, especially if you're a beginner to snowsports:

My go-to for the bus (Queenstown/Coronet or Queenstown/Remarkables): https://www.infosnow.co.nz

Favorite rentals in town: https://rental.queststore.co.nz

Best place for lift passes and lessons: https://www.nzski.com

Saved my day (fixed my problem): https://www.snowboardworkshop.co.nz

This is not a sponsored article. I hope you will enjoy yourself up there. It is scary, I get it, but when you get it - it's so easy to fall in love with any beautiful snowsport you choose. Don't limit yourself by thinking, it will take you forever to learn. Give yourself time and soon enough skiing/snowboarding will become your favorite winter activity.

Please leave a comment if you have any questions. :)
